Hello !
Current Project : BMW ESYS Coding Documentation Website
Manufacturers often engage in planned obsolescence by discontinuing software support, leaving even relatively new cars, such as five-year-old models, without modern features like CarPlay or auto high beams. Unfortunately, BMW is among those following this practice. To address this issue, I am exploring solutions using Esys Engineer software, which allows me to program new features into vehicles through the CAN Network.
As a proof of concept, I successfully upgraded my 2016 BMW M2, enabling wireless CarPlay compatibility and screen mirroring—features it was never designed to support. My next project involves utilizing the KFAS camera and matrix LEDs to develop a tunneling system for the headlights.
The possibilities for innovation are limitless, and to help others in the community, I am creating a documentation website. This platform will guide users on how to leverage this software for all BMW models from 2012 onward.

FTDX10
I discovered my passion for RF and radio at the age of 12 and have been deeply involved in the hobby ever since. Currently, I hold the Extra Class license, the most advanced certification in amateur radio. Over the years, I've owned and operated various radios through clubs like OARC, with my main radio being the Yaesu FTDX10. I remain active in morse code as well as SSB and remain a participant in the radio community.
Antenna Design
I've experimented with numerous antennas over the years, with my primary setup being the DX Commander Vertical. Antennas are often underrated, yet they are the most critical component for transmitting a strong and reliable signal. In addition to the vertical, I use a Yagi Antenna for 10 to 12 meters, which can also be tuned for other frequencies.
Cars
I’ve always been passionate about cars, drawn to their engineering, design, and performance. After three years of dedicated saving, I was proud to finally purchase my dream car, a testament to my hard work and commitment. Owning it has deepened my appreciation for automotive technology and fueled my enthusiasm for all things car-related.
Boating
I moved to Louisiana in 2020, and that’s where everything began. My family owned a property on a bayou, where we built a dock. We started with kayaks, which were a lot of fun paddling alongside the alligators, and often watched people cruising by in their flatboats. Not long after, we got a Targa V19, which we now use for offshore adventures straight from our backyard.
Custom FPV Drones
I enjoy building custom FPV drones from the ground up, selecting components like frames, motors, and flight controllers to suit specific needs like racing or freestyle flying. Using Betaflight, I program and fine-tune their performance with PID tuning, enabling precise control and advanced flight modes. This hobby allows me to combine engineering, coding, and creativity while pushing the boundaries of drone technology.
